Sweet Headache 070 : “Still Mörtzendising”

In my new Mörtzendise Mix, I just want to convey my ideas of the current future sound from UK. You’ll find tracks with specific Uk Garage reference and also such tracks which reminds one of Detroit classics with a straight kickdrum.

A look at the Tracklist shows how I love the NonPlus and Swamp 81  releases.

A real fascination for Joy Orbison’s sound and the variability of his rising and falling chords brought me to the challenge to mix his really emotional Chorddesign with such tracks with the deepness and atmosphere that fits to this.

The young talent Cosmin TRG inspired me with his very bandwidth of different electronic styles which I tryed to show in the mix.

Also a good recommendation is Distal, a young and talented british guy who seems to be inspired by all UK genres of the last 10 years.

Last but not least one of my favorite Berlin techno artists in the last years: Redshape. After seeing him at one of the Boiler Room mixes I realized how perfectly his style fits into the new Futuredub / Futuregarage movement in UK.
