play.fm Mobile Apps
January 24, 2011 No Comments Author:marvisplay.fm has announced new mobile apps for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone yesterday. That means you can now listen to Sweet Headache mixes on your mobile. Awesome!
I only had the chance to try the iPhone app so far, but I assume that the other versions are pretty similar. The app itself is clean, fast and does what it’s supposed to do: Play good music.
To find Sweet Headache, just use the search function, type in “Sweet Headache” and you’re there.
All apps cost 2,99 € and include unlimited streaming for 90 days. After that, only 5 hours per month will be free. play.fm is apparently planning paid premium services, and while they have gotten some criticism over that, I would be ok with it if the price is reasonable.
I have been using play.fm for almost all DJ sets on this website, and it’s good to see that they are improving their services.
(If you are wondering about some of the words on the screenshot: I set my iPhone to German, so I have the German words for “Search” and “More” in there. If you have a different language setting, it should adapt to that.)
